Why homeowners choose pergolas

A pergola gives an outdoor space a ceiling without closing it in. The open louvers break up the sun, giving roughly 60% shade, while air keeps moving through. That's what you want beside a pool or over an outdoor table.

We build pergolas attached to the house or freestanding, in white or bronze. Aluminum holds its finish and doesn't need yearly upkeep, and a pergola pairs well with a solid patio cover over the same space.

  • Attached or freestandingOff the back of the house, by the pool or out in the yard.

Questions

Good to know

All FAQs
Can you combine a pergola and a covered patio?

Yes. One recent customer had us build half covered patio and half pergola over the same 10 × 20 ft area.

Will an aluminum pergola need maintenance?

Very little. An occasional rinse keeps it clean. There's no sanding, staining or sealing like a wood pergola.
